Our partner company BA2i has completed a project for the European Space Agency at the Astrium Project X2 building in Toulouse, France, supplying doors for installation in an ISO2 atmosphere, with conductive anti static curtain to reduce the build-up of static electricity on the curtain which is also M1 fire rated and using patented guidance systems give an extremely good protection against air leakage (600 m3/H and 250 m3/H under 30 pa, depending on door size). It is believed that this is the first fabric door to be built to such a high specification of cleanliness and air tightness.

EASTERN Industrial Door Services Limited have completed the purchased of the assets of Caydor Industrial Doors Limited and the new company will have one of Europe's largest door manufacturers as a shareholder.

Benefits of the involvement of the French company BA2i are immediately being put into action by the introduction of their range of AGVs from their partner company Flexitrack.

Engineers from EASTERN Doors have also been working over in France to assist in the development of a new door for the UK market. It is hoped this will be launched in the autumn after full site testing has been completed.
