LED TRAFFIC LIGHTS
Red / Green Model LTL18 traffic light head to IP66.

We have available PE Protection posts 1100 mm high/120 mm diametre, traffic yellow. Units come complete with galvanised fixing ring and matching yellow cover for fixings. (no fixings included) Price each £65.
TIPS
If you pack out a customers bumpers to stop the vehicle hitting the building you can create a "domino" effect of problems.. Remember you have now to extend further into the vehicle with the leveller lip. Is it long enough to safely sit on the bed of the vehicle?
If not, the leveller needs to be moved forward.
Easy enough, but then will he have contact with the dock pads, or get an adequate seal from the shelter curtains?

NEW . . . . . . GREEN RECYCLED MOVING POLYETHYLENE (PE) BUMPERS
Our latest addition. Designed by us in order to offer a product which will lower your carbon footprint by having 4 times the normal life of a PE bumper and we believe up to 100 times the life of rubber bumpers. When life is over they can be recycled, and new replacement facing bumpers can be fitted to the steel carriers. No technical knowledge needed to carry out this work.
TIPS
Traffic lights can be used without cowls for internal high speed door applications, but we recommend cowls for loading bay applications where they can be affected by direct sunlight.
Units approx 300 mm wide and 450 mm high and having three fixing points for bolts or steel backing carriage can be welded directly to dock face.
PE can be supplied Green or Black in recycled material. Carriage is painted traffic yellow.
The carriage design allows the PE bumper to move up and down with the movement of the vehicle. The face of the PE bumper is especially low on friction allowing movement without excess wear.
Ease of maintenance and replacement PE. We recommend annually changing the PE bumper section round, to prolong the life of the units.

TIPS
Use traffic lights for safety . .
Connect lights directly to the top limit and set at red until the door is fully open. Lights change to green when the door is fully open. Signage recommends only move through door on green. When door starts to close, this will change back to red. This will save your customer damage to his door or claims that the door hit someone.

MOVING BUMPERS
We have a number of models with gas strut return mechanisms. These allow movement of vehicles up and down 150 mm with excess damage to the bumpers. This model is designed to take the conventional RB1018 range of moulded bumpers and have been used successfully for many years. The carriage needs bolting to the dock face or welding to steelwork if possible. Price per pair ready for fixing bumpers £280 per pair.
MOULDED RUBBER BUMPERS WITH YELLOW FACED PE
Similar to the rubber model RB1018/4 but having a yellow section in the face of the bumper of PE to take impact which normally cuts the face of conventional rubber bumpers. Price £140 per pair.
